Fighting the Taliban in the Kunar province of Afghanistan was notoriously treacherous to US Military personnel. In this video, a US Soldier and his fire team are under assault after gathering intel on a village in the valley below. The soldier recording the video leaps from cover to draw enemy fire and attempt to expose the enemy position. He was struck 4 times before making it back to cover:
