Chase Poust, his 4-year-old sister, and their father were fishing off the Florida coast on a Friday night.
After the boat ran into trouble and capsized, 7-year-old Chase swam for over an hour to get help. He finally reached the shore, found help, and ultimately saved his family.

It's great to hear, read about an awesome story of heroism, from a little boy saving his Dad, sister! Very inspiring! Usually it's about a shooting or something else sad, violent! It's such a breathe of fresh air! That father has to be filled with such pride, love for his son's strength! His poor little sister had to be so scared! Thanks be to God! ✝️
This was in Jacksonville, Fl. on the St Johns River which does have one heck of a current! Kudos to this young man who is one heck of a swimmer! I've been there skiing and the current is really strong. Oh, did I mention that there are alligators in the St Johns as well. Usually not out in the middle of the river but near the shoreline and they do cross the river at times which can be 3 miles or more wide!
What a heartwarming story! God bless this little man for his heroic act! So glad it was a happy ending all around thanks to him.
By the grace of God, this little boy saved his family. Seven years old, and there are people stupid enough to believe he did it on his own!! NO NO NO! God lead him!!

Yes, by the Grace of God He summoned Chases’ Guardian Angel to accompany him on this life saving mission. Chases’ spirit lead him to somehow discern to float on his back. He replied, I don’t know to the interviewer! He now knows! His
Earthly Father (Dad) told him so! This father, son, daughter are now bonded for life! Chase is a HERO!
His Father, the responders, are all heroes through the Grace of God!I wonder if Chase floated on his back,and looked up to the stars!

Thats so awesome! And you can tell the kid is smart and I'd have to say he has a great up bringing good job parents and what a amazing job young man you did . You keap your cool when most would have panicked and you got your little sister to shore safe and helped save your Dad your one very brave and amazing kid im proud of you as I'm sure your parents are too . Your truly a super hero !!
