We've heard plenty of stories where pet owners sic their animal after someone else. But this story is a bit nuts... pun intended.
Two Livingston Deputies were arresting an unidentified tow truck driver when the suspect's pet squirrel launched itself at one of the officers.
After a few moments of desperately trying to get the squirrel off, the Deputies were able to restrain and re-cage the animal.

It is pretty funny to watch ! I'm glad to know all ended well for squirrel and officers (and I hope for owner/ driver ,too!) It very much is what a normal squirrel does when stressed-----circle a tree in a spiral path to evade a predator. Or, being a pet, squirrel may simply have been playful ! Thanks for sharing! Laughter is good!
Was this the case where the suspect had been feeding his pet squirrel amphetamines to make it aggressive?
