God Bless these fearless animals !!!!! I had the pleasure(if we can call it that) of going on patrol just a couple of times in Vietnam and they DID sniff out the VC before we did and allowed us to take care of business before the VC could. My son is a retired K-9 State Trooper and his dog is one of the reasons he lived to retire -- They are truly great animals !!!!!!!
And they need our help when they retired and need medical assistance. Let’s not forget them when that time comes. Without them the Army can not do their job. Let’s not forget them.
Dogs are special animals. We have two who can read our cameras and let us know when something isn't right. Yes, we DO give them all the care they need and will continue now they're 13 and 14.
