A former U.S. Marine and Corrections Officer has been killed while serving as a contractor in Ukraine. The death of 22-year-old Willy Joseph Cancel marks the first known death of a U.S. citizen in the Russian invasion.
Willy Joseph Cancel leaves behind a wife and 7-month old baby. The White House has yet to respond, choosing instead to punt the issue and discourage Americans from participating in the Russia/Ukraine conflict.
Willy's mother explained why she believed he went to Ukraine in the first place:
“He wanted to go over because he believed in what Ukraine was fighting for, and he wanted to be a part of it to contain it there so it didn’t come here, and that maybe our American soldiers wouldn’t have to be involved in it,”

Most won't understand the mindset behind what Willy Joseph Cancel did, but he is a hero and a patriot. It's incredibly tragic that his baby will have to grow up without him as a father. Hopefully the community rises to support the Cancel family.

If we boil this down to how this tragedy could have been avoided, it simple. Putin and our Bumbler-in-Chief. Putin would have thought twice about his gamble to invade the Ukraine if we had a competent leader. But Brandon left the door wide open and Putin walked right in
President Bush (not that I like him much) had two missile bases agreed to one in Poland, the other in the Czech Republic, Obama/Brandon/Hillary canceled the two bases without getting anything in return. Putin thought these three sissies were weak, no doubt looking at the corruption today one has to wonder about the personal benefits the three received. Then in 2010, Hillary sells 20% of our uranium to Russia, then in 2014, Putin invades Eastern Ukraine and Crimea, and the three O/B/H did nothing about it, except sent some blankets, even though they were obligated to defend the Ukraine when Bill Clinton had Ukraine give up their nuclear weapons to Russia. Putin after all of that said to himself, "Now that was easy.) holding Hillary's reset button! Putin was going to take over the rest of Ukraine following the 2016 election, which Putin assisted in helping Clinton knowing that Hillary was already damaged goods when she received $2 million dollars from Putin. However, the election did not turn out that way, and Trump became President, when 2020 came along and Brandon was elected Putin knew that he was highly compromised, and Brandon laid the groundwork for the Ukrainian invasion. Obama/Biden and Hillary are just as responsible for the genocide occurring in Ukraine as Putin.

They are as corrupt as any country in the world and serve no interest to the U S except to the corrupt biden crime family and other of our crooked politicians. We also have to set upan agreement with the countries on our doorstep;canada mexco, all central amercan countries and south america has to have an agreement like the european union to protect our borders from europe and middle eastern countries that are bleeding us dry with extended mlitary bases all over the world. He was misinformed or if he'd known the truth he wouldn't have gone. He did a stupid thing going there at such a young age with family like he had. He's no hero. Russia is cleaning the DEEP STATE out of Ukraine just like we would have had to done once we can clean it out of here, what biden is a puppet of!!!
If Mr. Cancel believed in what Ukraine was fighting for, he was duped. He probably watched too much fake news here in the U.S. Ukraine has been being instructed what to do to provoke Russia since 2014 when the U.S. staged a coup and placed Zelensky in as president, Mr. puppet president. The U.S. is constantly creating war throughout the globe, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Serbia, etc., etc. Same old playbook, destabilize region then go in with armed force (UN backed NATO) to 'save democracy'. There IS NO democracy in Ukraine, Zelensky arrests and tortures all dissidents. No media allowed to broadcast except state sponsored media. U.S. arms manufacturers are big winner here while Zelensky slaughters his own people via shelling.
let there be no mistake its a shame that the young man lost his life in this situation We have the same things going on right here in this country . We just went to a hearing where the judge gave our property to a spoiled rich boy to have for his private drive on our private property! When the reality lady brokered her own deal severed the property and had and has the same roadway going through her own property that she kept. Now we have all of them including her driving through the middle of our property . Now the judge has ordered us to pay for their attorneys . We feel like we live under some communist rule. Taking the enjoyment of our private property away from us and throwing us in jail when we tried to stop this . It took years to pay for and get the property for some judge to give it to the adjacent property owner. When does it stop This country has so much corruption in our judicial system its down right scary and unbelievable.

Normally contractors are not allowed in the fight. They are there to do whatever they were contracted for. What was his job capacity? No one want to see loss of life and it happens whether you are part of the Military or not. My nephew was contracted in Afghanistan as a fire inspector. He was not allowed a gun. I respect people wanting to help but we only know half the truth of this war. There are not many news agencies that are reporting what is happening. I would check everything before I made that decision. My condolences to his family.

The US is fighting Russia using Ukrainians on their own terf. It is a proxy war. Therefore, we are not sending any boots there, just useless old military equipment to benefit military equipment contractors and those who own their stocks. I heard the expression, "young and brave = immature and stupid." I myself had some moments of "immature and stupid." No American should be fighting this war although we may have some of our military officers trapped in the Azovstal Steel plant underground bunker. Once they are captured alive, that will give Putin a nice justification starting this war that he calls it "special military ops."

I am sadden such a young life has been lost but why was he over there in the first place? This dispute has nothing to with the US. Our corrupt leaders here are worried about their investments in Ukraine and are trying to drag the rest of us into this. If they want to defend that county and the evilness that they are doing to its own people let the politicians go defend it.
Well, must FOCUS on the issue as is factual.
1. The Main issue is what we should focus on and that is the unabridged FREEDOM of those citizens of Ukraine.
2. PUTIN is focused on territorial control of land. He is also focused upon the land WITHOUT concern for any civilians living in the improvements on the property. We see videos of the damage to once beautiful and some historical buildings, and the mass of rubble that lays strewn about. Much of the rubble wears black scars of black clouds that eminated the collosal fires which turned black to brilliant oranges of flickering flames that licked the walls before they fell.
3. PUTIN is pushing as far as he feels he can, and I fear he will push even more.
