It’s no secret that Netflix is hurting financially, but that’s what happens when a business bends the knee to a small minority of woke employees instead of listening to the customer. Now that Netflix is desperate to recover it’s plummeting user base, leadership has decided enough is enough.
In a stunning reversal from previous woke kowtowing, the media giant has released a new corporate memo taking a hard stance on attempts to silence artistic expression. In fact, the memo goes so far as to encourage employees who take offense to leave the company and find work elsewhere.
The new culture memo includes a bold statement: viewpoints will not be censored, even if employees consider the content harmful.
It’s about time leaders take back control of their businesses. While it’s incredibly important to respect employees, they should not dictate products and services to the detriment of the customer.
Hopefully other large corporations who’ve bent the knee to radical employees will take note and follow Netflix’s example. Unfortunately, if they don’t, they are in for a world of hurt as modern consumers are fed up with the wokeness.
