Outstanding Officer! Way to stay in the fight even after being hit with the shotgun blast. Always be prepared even with a skinny pervert as it only takes less than 10 lbs to pull a trigger. Officer, you do need to get some range time so if something like this ever happens again, and I pray it doesn't, you will be able to place the first three rounds in the suspects head and avoid getting shot. Praying for a quick recovery my Brother.

Didn't this happen months ago? Never saw it on the "news," but did on another blog. The officer's actions sure looked justified and just barely in time. Maybe there should be cameras on all their guns, but not if it interferes with their accuracy. We should all thank the officer for taking the perp off the streets. Hope the officer fully recovers, and get proper recognition.
