The Fort Worth Police Department has released chilling bodycam footage of the heart stopping moment when an 8-year-old girl was rescued from her kidnapper and rapist.
Michael Webb, 51, kidnapped the girl in broad daylight in front of her mother while they were out walking. It took Police almost a full day to locate Webb and rescue the girl.
Webb has been convicted of sexual assault of a minor and will serve the rest of his life behind bars.
In the footage of the arrest, the Officers involved displayed incredible professionalism and control in the arrest. While it's hard to imagine being in their position and dealing with such a sickening suspect, they did their job and ensured there was no chance the trial would be thrown on a technicality.
