Colin Kaepernick Desperately Wants Back Into the NFL

 September 29, 2023

Colin Kaepernick, a former NFL quarterback known for his anti-American and anti-police activism, is making headlines again.

This time, it's for his seemingly desperate attempts to rejoin the NFL—a league he once labeled as "racist". Of course, Kaepernick is facing backlash for the move.

Notably, Radio host Charlamagne Tha God, criticized Kaepernick's efforts as "tragically sad and downright pathetic," especially given that Kaepernick is asking to be part of a league that he compared to a "plantation".

The Irony of Kaepernick's Request

Colin Kaepernick has been a polarizing figure, especially for his kneeling protests during the national anthem to protest so-called "police brutality".

His activism led to a lot of debates but also made him a controversial figure in the sports world.

Now, he is seeking to return to the NFL by sending a letter to the New York Jets' General Manager, Joe Douglas, asking to be part of the team's practice squad.

The irony is palpable: Kaepernick is almost begging for a spot in a league that he has openly criticized as racist.

Charlamagne Tha God's Take

Radio host Charlamagne Tha God didn't hold back in his criticism of Kaepernick's recent actions.

On his show, the Breakfast Club, Charlamagne described Kaepernick's letter as "tragically sad and downright pathetic".

He went on to say that Kaepernick has let his setbacks define him and criticized him for not speaking for himself but letting others convey his messages.

Charlamagne's sentiments echo a broader feeling that Kaepernick's actions are contradictory and raise questions about his sincerity.

Conclusion

Colin Kaepernick's desperate attempts to rejoin the NFL have stirred up a new wave of criticism. His actions are seen as ironic and contradictory, especially given his past criticisms of the league.

We honor the dedication and resilience of our law enforcement agencies and military, who serve and protect our nation every day. Kaepernick's story serves as a reminder of the importance of consistency and sincerity when advocating for social issues.

  1. A Great big NO WAY the NFL should take him back, he's anti-American and will never change, if he thinks this is a game where you get to play again next week then he's even dumber that he looks and if the NFL takes him back we should never go to or watch another game!!!!

  2. APLOGIZE First to the American people and do something FOR the United States. (Join the army}
He let us down by not supporting the troops and American people.
We don't need those who hate our country, and pay them an unbelievable salary.

He needs to understand he let us down, every other country seen what he did.
    There are consequences for action.
    He was an embarrassment

  3. I can't feel sorry for him - he had a talent that gave him a life of opportunity beyond what 99%+ of us can ever attain. He wanted to get attention and "show" us what a courageous person he was!? Taking a knee when his country's flag is being displayed? and the instant he who had everything on a platter, knew that even one vet or active military person was offended, he should have stood up, apologized and found some other way to show "what an amazing person he was" such as going into the inner cities and working with the young people, helping them realize that with an education and hard work they can realize the American dream. And then he could have gathered all of his fellow kneelers and had them lobby for school choice for those young people so that they wind up with better choices for their lives if they are average kids without some huge talent that will allow them to soar!!!
