On Mar. 14, 2023, the US European Command released footage that captures the Russian Su-27 fighter jet repeatedly harassing a US MQ-9 Reaper drone in an unsafe manner.
The video shows the Russian aircraft conducting dangerous maneuvers with the intention of dumping fuel on the American drone.
Unfortunately, during one of the last passes, the Russian jet clipped the propeller of the US Reaper, causing it to plummet into the Black Sea.
As seen in the footage, the collision between the two aircraft resulted in the drone's video feed cutting out abruptly.
