A Florida Sheriff's Deputy rescued two young children from an alleged kidnapper who stole their father's truck. The incident occurred in Hillsborough County, Florida, when Deputy Jonathan pasmino Alvarez was flagged down by a distressed father who reported his children ages 4 and 8 were taken.
Deputy pasmino Alvarez caught sight of the vehicle and pulled it over in a parking lot, where he questioned the driver, Kevin Smith.
The bodycam footage captured one of the children telling the officer that the suspect was not his father as Sheriff's Deputy Pasmino Alvarez attempted to take Smith into custody.
Smith was later charged with Grand Theft motor vehicle and two counts of felony kidnapping. Fortunately, the children were unharmed during the incident and were safely returned to their father.

Praise the Lord; we don't need new laws; we have very good laws; we just need them enforced to the maximum allowed for the crime.
No…while I agree our laws need to be more vigorously enforced, laws for juvenile infractions are truly insufficient. That’s exactly why juvenile offenders keep offending - they KNOW not much punitively will happen to them!
Anyone who willingly endanger young children like this need to face a firing squad. The reason these things happen is because the laws have become too lax in such cases. As long as perps can get away with such; they will, and that means yet other children are endangered.
How does any of these crimes matter? We don’t even know who is in this country anymore!
