Thank you for your excellent service! This is normal! And, some fools want to Defund the Police? What if the bad guy's bullet had hit its mark? It's not all nice and sanitary like so many people imagine. Things can get deadly really quick. That is one reason I do not believe in non-lethal weapons. Too much decision-making is required from the police officer. Could YOU do all of it without making a mistake?
For those of you not gun oriented, check out the gun handling of the officers. They are chasing a suspect with warrants against him, possibly a dangerous person. Note that during this one officer's gun is prominent in the picture. The officer's finger is OUTSIDE the trigger guard, and OFF the trigger. Even in a pursuit, safe gun handling is being practiced. These are well trained men practicing gun safety in a very unsafe situation. There will be no negligent discharges here. Observe and learn.
