I would of done the same thing but maybe put 2 bullets in this guy
The Trooper clearly killed him. But initiated life saving protocol. Which mean that Protocol has to be continued until the suspect until a physician pronounces him dead. It gets the suspect removed from the scene. When the shooting is investigated and reviews the video .The Trooper will exonerated.
I've been in a couple shooting like that the only thing I did different was that I instinctively double tapped the suspects. I also secured the weapon.
