Startling Admission By Nathan Wade in Congressional Testimony Regarding Trump Prosecution

 October 22, 2024

Daily Mail Online reported that Nathan Wade, former lover of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, has made stunning admissions to Congress regarding the prosecution of Donald Trump.

According to a transcript of Wade's closed-door deposition before the House Judiciary Committee, he admitted to being part of a "search committee" tasked with finding prosecutors to investigate Trump.

This committee was reportedly established before Willis took office as District Attorney on January 1, 2021, suggesting a premeditated plan to pursue legal action against the former president.

Wade's testimony revealed that he and Willis communicated daily during the selection process for the lead counsel role in the election interference investigation. Despite their ongoing romantic relationship, Willis ultimately appointed Wade to this crucial position.

Wade's Lack of Qualifications Raises Eyebrows

During his testimony, Wade surprisingly admitted that he lacked qualifications for the special prosecutor position to which Willis appointed him. This revelation has further fueled criticism of the case's integrity and the motivations behind Wade's appointment.

The House Judiciary Committee has labeled Willis' election interference case against Trump as "politicized" following the exposure of her romantic involvement with Wade. A committee spokesperson noted that Wade evaded numerous questions during the closed-door session by claiming he "couldn't recall" or remember nearly 60 times.

When pressed about the personal nature of his relationship with Willis, Wade deflected, stating he didn't expect to answer questions about his private life during the congressional inquiry.

White House Meetings and January 6 Committee Connections

Wade's testimony also touched on his interactions with high-level government officials. He disclosed meeting with Biden-Harris White House staff on at least two occasions, including individuals from the White House Counsel's office. However, he provided limited details about the nature of these meetings.

Additionally, Wade confirmed having meetings with the January 6 Congressional Committee but refrained from elaborating on the specifics of these interactions. These revelations have raised questions about the extent of coordination between various entities in the pursuit of the case against Trump.

The case against Trump and 18 of his Republican allies, which resulted in an indictment in August 2023, has been on hold since June. A Georgia appeals court is currently considering whether Willis should be disqualified due to alleged misconduct related to her romantic relationship with Wade.

Ongoing Controversy and Legal Implications

Trump has vehemently denied the charges, labeling the case a "hoax" and a "scam." The former president has accused Willis of engaging in a "public display of racial animus" towards him and characterized her case as a "calculated effort" to deflect attention from her own actions.

The relationship between Willis and Wade came under scrutiny earlier this year, leading to numerous requests for documents related to Wade's work on the Trump prosecution. Wade stepped down from his role as special prosecutor in March due to the scandal surrounding their affair.

Willis maintains that her relationship with Wade is a thing of the past. However, recent police bodycam footage showed the pair together at the scene of Willis's daughter's arrest in August 2024, raising questions about the true nature of their current relationship.

As the legal and political drama unfolds, the revelations from Wade's testimony continue to cast a shadow over the prosecution's case against Trump. The outcome of the appeals court's decision on Willis's potential disqualification could have significant implications for the future of the high-profile case.
