Former Nashville officer avoids jail in case involving OnlyFans video

 August 20, 2025

Former Nashville police officer Sean Herman pleaded no contest to felony official misconduct after his involvement in a sexually explicit promotional video led to his arrest.

According to a New York Post report, Herman entered the plea in Nashville's criminal court on Thursday, resulting in a sentence of one year of supervised probation instead of jail time. He also received judicial diversion, which could lead to the dismissal of his case and clearance of charges if he completes probation successfully.

The incident stemmed from a video filmed on April 26, 2024, in a warehouse parking lot while Herman was on duty as a patrol officer. In the clip, produced by OnlyFans creator Jordin, Herman appeared in uniform during a mock traffic stop that involved groping and other explicit acts.

Officer Faces Consequences for Uniform Misuse

Herman, who had served with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department for three years, was fired in May 2024 after detectives identified him in the video through a visible police patch on his arm. The department described the act as highly disrespectful to its employees and the agency as a whole.

The video depicted Jordin being "pulled over," exposing her breast, and offering to let the officer touch her to avoid a ticket, followed by her grabbing his crotch. Although Herman's face was not shown, the patch confirmed his affiliation with the Nashville police.

Herman was arrested in June 2024 on two counts of official misconduct and released on a $3,000 bond. A state board later suspended his law enforcement certification indefinitely in August 2024, though he could seek reinstatement after the criminal case concludes.

Video Details Emerge from Investigation

Investigators determined the filming occurred during Herman's shift, highlighting a breach of duty in using his uniform for the explicit content. The video was intended as a promotional skit to boost views on social media platforms like X.

Jordin explained in an interview that the clip was not for her OnlyFans content but for promotion on X to generate clicks. She noted that Herman responded to a Reddit post about potential future filming, leading to the idea for the fake traffic stop.

The couple, including Jordin's husband, referred to as "hubs," planned the skit and confirmed Herman's agreement to participate before his shift. Jordin later removed the video upon learning of the backlash against Herman, stating she aimed to stay out of the situation afterward.

Creator Shares Perspective on Backlash

Jordin revealed in a March interview with Law & Crime that she did not know Herman prior to the video and that their interaction started online. She emphasized that the promotional intent was to increase engagement, not to produce full OnlyFans material.

Following media coverage, Jordin's OnlyFans subscriptions surged significantly despite Herman's firing and arrest. She attributed the video's discovery by authorities to local media reporting it after it gained 2 million views and 5,500 retweets on Twitter.

In a May 2024 interview with OutKick, Jordin blamed local media for alerting the department to the clip. She described Herman as polite and respectful, not fitting the negative profile others assigned to him.

Herman's Case Heads Toward Resolution

Sean Herman, a 35-year-old former patrol officer with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, participated in a mock traffic stop video where he groped OnlyFans creator Jordin while in uniform, leading to charges of official misconduct. The act occurred on April 26, 2024, in a Nashville warehouse parking lot, motivated by a promotional skit idea developed through online discussions.

Authorities pursued the case due to the misuse of police resources and uniform during duty hours, resulting in Herman's firing, arrest, and probation sentence. The plea allows for potential record clearance if probation is completed, addressing concerns over professional conduct in law enforcement.

Herman may seek reinstatement of his certification after case closure, while Jordin noted increased subscriptions from the publicity. Ongoing effects include the indefinite suspension and the department's stance on the disrespect shown to its members.
