Authorities arrest attempted murder suspect after raid at Trippie Redd’s Florida mansion

 October 8, 2026

Police arrested 25-year-old Braveone Jones on attempted murder charges after a multi-agency raid at rapper Trippie Redd’s Florida mansion, tying him to a Miami shooting.

Jones, also known as BalloutDaDon, was located on the property around 6 p.m. Tuesday as officers executed a search warrant at the rapper’s $8 million estate, the Daily Caller reported.

The City of Miami led the investigation, with Davie Police assisting at the mansion. Jones is being held in a Miami-Dade County case connected to a Sept. 15 shooting outside Dukunoo Jamaican Kitchen in Miami.

He faces two firearm-related attempted second-degree murder charges. Bond was set at $15,000 on each count.

Multiple agencies swarmed the estate

Davie Police, Fort Lauderdale Police, Sunrise Police, the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the ATF, and Plantation Police SWAT all took part in the warrant service. That kind of coordinated pressure is how suspects get found instead of slipping away.

Large multi-agency operations have produced results in other major cases, including when U.S. and Ecuadoran forces dismantled a Jalisco cartel branch and arrested more than 30 people.

TMZ first flagged the raid and arrest. The outlet posted:

"🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Trippie Redd home raid leads to arrest of attempted murder suspect. What we know: "

Jones has previously appeared on prominent livestreams, including N3on’s, according to that same reporting. Celebrity-adjacent circles do not place anyone above the law when gun charges are on the table.

High-profile rap cases draw heavy attention for a reason, much like the scrutiny that followed when a federal jury cleared Lil Durk in a murder-for-hire case tied to rapper rivalry.

Trippie Redd’s role remains unclear

It is not clear whether Trippie Redd was involved in the investigation or faces any legal repercussions. The mansion was the location of the warrant and the arrest activity. Ownership alone does not equal guilt, and the reporting does not claim it does.

Murder and attempted-murder cases often turn on evidence that surfaces long after the first headlines, as seen when the South Carolina Supreme Court overturned Alex Murdaugh’s murder convictions and ordered a new trial.

The underlying Sept. 15 shooting outside the Miami restaurant is the anchor for the charges Jones now faces. Specific allegations tying him to the victims and the shooting itself were not detailed beyond his being held in relation to that Miami-Dade case.

Investigations of this type can stretch for months while leads are checked and discarded, a pattern familiar to readers following the Nancy Guthrie case as it hit eight months with another ransom tip collapsing.

The probe remains open. Jones is in custody on the two attempted second-degree murder counts with firearms. Taxpayers fund these task forces so violent suspects are taken off the street instead of left free to reoffend.

When police show up in force and make the arrest, the system is doing the basic job citizens expect.
