A powerful explosion near a fertility clinic in Palm Springs on Saturday left one person dead and four injured, prompting federal authorities to classify the incident as an act of terrorism.
According to Breitbart, authorities say the bombing, one of the largest in Southern California history, was a deliberate attack targeting the American Reproductive Centers.
The blast occurred outside the American Reproductive Centers fertility clinic, which is located in downtown Palm Springs. Law enforcement officials said the device detonated in or near a vehicle at about midday. The explosion resulted in widespread damage and chaos throughout the surrounding neighborhood. One individual was killed in the blast, though authorities have not publicly confirmed their identity. Four people were injured, with at least one victim being close to the building at the time of the explosion.
