The Orange County Fire Authority responded to a horrible, one of a kind accident. Once on scene, they requested the assistance of air resources to transport one victim via helicopter.
Two others were transported via ambulance in critical condition. The California Highway Patrol closed Santiago Canyon Rd. in both directions while they worked to investigate the cause.
It appears that speed may have been a factor in the crash, especially considering that the Ferrari was split in half upon impact.
The Ferrari is believed to have struck a Mazda and Toyota in the incident.
