The 101st Airborne And The Attack On Carentan

This video documentary explains the taking of Carentan on June 12th 1944 by the 101st Airborne Division, focusing on the role of E/506th PIR.

These events were depicted in episode 3 of Band of Brothers, the well known HBO series. Filmed on location in Carentan, Normandy and using many rare wartime images and pieces of film, this WW2TV presentation offers insight into the real events.

  3. Those were the days when American people and DC SWAMP respected and gave them the tools to defeat the enemy. Now it seems the enemy comes first, look at thje last 3 dem. presidents. they gave the enemy who wants us destoyed billions of dollars if not trillions. Iran who alwasys chants (DEATH TO AMERICA).
