The greatest problem with the constant second guessing of law enforcement activity is that most people have no idea how fast events unfold.
This video is a prime example of just how fast most violent Police encounters unfold. Take a look and let us know what you think:
That's what happens all to often, 0 to shots fired in milliseconds !!!! Job well done, great team work !!!!!!
sucked that the guy in the corner blocked most of the words
These officers did a great job handling the situation at hand.
Excellent job done by the officers involved. The Sgt did an excellent job as calling the steps.
That woman needs a rubber room!! I hope the officer is ok.
THE B I T C H NEED A PINE BOX GOOD SHOT SARGE HE GAVE HER A LEASE ON LIFE
I have a great respect for our police, and these officers just reinforced my beliefs. Thanks to all officers, who put their lives on the line everyday for the public. Your thoughts and commentary was also good, sir.
I wonder if the Police who know how to shoot could have just shot the knife out of the deranged woman's hand. It may have caused less time involvement of so many Police who probably were called off of other calls. BUT ABOVE ALL, THANK GOD FOR THE POLICE.
Shooting anything out of a villans hand requires you to basically be a trick shooter. In these violent confrontations, the winner is going to be whoever can shoot fastest.
Anything involving humans can change or escalate, literally between heartbeats. Asa former EMS 1st responder & as an RN both, I've seen that happen all too often. This was well handled, & best to not try, or rely on, "trick" shots, unless there really is no other option. The officers followed their training well. It's sad the woman died, but the whole time, she was not complying, & presented a threat to others, so the cops could not move into help her sooner.
