Garden Grove police responded to a reported carjacking that had just occurred. Officers began canvassing the area and were able to locate the vehicle nearby. A police pursuit was initiated after the suspect refused to pull over,.
Police used a pursuit intervention technique which ended the chase and a standoff began. Officers used patrol vehicles to box in the suspect as they were worried he would try and continue fleeing. Of course, the suspect ignored several commands to exit the vehicle, so things began to escalate.
After several additional attempts, officers used pepper balls to try and gain compliance. Eventually a Sheriffs K9 was used to "take "encourage" the suspect out of the vehicle and into custody.
The suspect was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Yet again, a faithful K9 officer got the job done! Let us know what you think of this brave doggo in the comments below.
great job, we need more dogs
Love watching police dogs take down the creeps.
Just do what you’re told!
All well and good, but were is the protective gear for the dogs???
God Bless The Blue and the great K-9 Police dogs. My favorite is the German Shepherd.. Don't forget to donate to their care and veterinarian bills.
