As Russia continues it's invasion of Ukraine, the city of Severodonetsk has become a critical point in the war. While Ukrainian resistance has been staunch, casualties have been devastatingly high.
President Zelensky has reported 60 to 100 soldiers are being killed each day, plus a staggering 500 daily wounded. Not to mention, the civilian death count has risen well over 20 thousand at this point.
While Ukrainian forces are certainly getting hit hard, Russia is also experiencing severe losses including the decimation of an entire battalion. The 1,000-man force was crossing a bridge when Ukrainian defenders wiped them out.
Both Russia and Ukraine are attempting to bolster their strength around Severodonetsk. This city has become a major focal point of the conflict though Russia may be over extending themselves. Facing unreliable supply lines and a high risk aversion to losing more equipment, Russian forces are facing a serious moral issue.
Meanwhile, the international community has been scrambling to respond to this ever-growing crisis. NATO has authorized additional troops and equipment to be sent to support Ukrainian forces. The United States has sent financial aid and long-range missiles.
Russia's continued aggression leaves the future of Ukraine in question. With no end to the fighting in sight, it is hard to say how much longer Ukraine can hold out or how much more Russia can throw at the war. What is certain however, is that this conflict has changed the landscape of Europe forever.
NOTE: The Ukrainian government is no bulwark of freedom and democracy. That being said, Russia's invasion is a horrific violation of sovereignty and to be condemned fully.

Russia will win eventually. Mr. Putin is slowly sinking into retirement. We should be concerned about who will replace him. America under Biden is a vastly weakened military force. China along with her bastard child North Korea, is the next world wide problem.
What trying times we are in! How can NATO authorize more troops to Ukraine when NATO is not in this conflict?
NATO nations are being severely affected in many ways due to Russian aggression and the ensuring consequences. That should be enough for NATO to put an end to the cause.

At this point, the Russian people have no incentive to force an end to the war. All of the destruction is in Ukraine. Take out a few Russian cities and see if there isn’t a change of pressure on Putin.
Biden's refusal to allow drilling for oil on government land and in the gulf is funding Putin in this war.
