Meg, I want to thank you so much for the opportunities that I have had to make my comments on your column. I Don't want to be part of twitter or any of the other BS groups in order to share my thoughts, I refuse to sign up. I'm a 40 year combat veteran serving in six wars beginning with Viet Nam. I was enlisted in the Air Force for 10 years and then 2 years in the Army before I was commissioned. When I speak to high school kids and civic groups the first question asked of me is am I a hero. I tell them, no but my sons who have served are my hero's, however I am highly decorated. I was awarded the Legion of Merit when it was the least awarded medal to that of The Medal of Honor. I retired at the rank of LTC. The BS going on in this country is so unbelievable. No one seems to be held accountable for their behavior and actions.
